Dawnette grew up and currently resides in Seattle.  

She lives alone with her dog Bennie.

She is constantly working as a field reporter at KFAT channel 4.  Due to her lifelong anxiety she gets very emotionally invested in every story she reports on and off camera.

With her anxiety disorder she has had trouble finding love. She is contemplating going on a dating app.
